More flights between Edinburgh and London

British Airways adds extra services between Scottish Capital and London City Airport

British Airways has announced plans to expand its service between Edinburgh and London City Airport.

From September, British Airways CityFlyer, the wholly-owned subsidiary of British Airways, will operate 10 return services a day between Edinburgh and London City – an increase of two over its existing schedule.

British Airways introduced the London City - Edinburgh service in October 2003 with three daily return services.

The expansion of the route has resulted in a significant increase in the BA CityFlyer crew base at Edinburgh, with 81 flight crew and 71 cabin crew now operating from the base.

The airline also operates four return services a day between Glasgow and London City Airport.
