Star-studded charity based gala dinner designed to honour Scotland’s best-loved and unsung heroes. Great Scot is the people’s Oscars – when ordinary Scots who have achieved the extraordinary share the stage with stars of entertainment, sport and business.

This is the most auspicious Scottish newspaper event in existence now entering its 18th year.

The gala dinner, attended by over 750 guests, consists of a champagne reception and formal meal followed by an awards ceremony. Our star-studded guest list has included Ewan McGregor, Brian Cox, Lulu, Sir Jackie Stewart, Darius, Kirsty Young, Colin & Justin and Lorraine Kelly.

This is a wonderful night that brings out the best in Scotland. The care, the compassion, the humour, the passion and the spirit.

You can nominate your Great Scots either through the Sunday Mail or in-store at any Morrisons in Scotland. Tables for the dinner are available for at a cost of £1100 & VAT for a table of 10.
