Scotland’s top listed companies compete for honours at the Scotland plc Awards. Inaugurated in 1999 the awards are now a firm fixture on the corporate landscape celebrating the many substantial achievements of our country’s quoted companies.

The Scotland plc Awards initiative, created jointly by Scottish Business Insider and PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999, takes the form of competitive submissions presented to a high profile judging panel whose decisions are announced at a major dinner when the Awards are presented to quoted Scottish companies. 2008 was the 10^th Anniversary of these prestigious awards.

The Awards are presented by their individual sponsors at the dinner, which will be attended by around 500 people comprising directors of Scotland’s quoted companies, their advisers, brokers and bankers, as well as the owner-managers of private companies contemplating a future listing.

In addition to the presentation of seven Awards, the audience will enjoy a keynote speaker and after-dinner entertainment. There is substantial coverage and promotion in the Scottish Business Insider in which sponsors receive significant branding throughout for backing the initiative.
