In brief: Hays recruits £70.6m profit
Recruitment giant Hays saw fees in the UK and Ireland rise by 13 per cent to £225.3million last year.
Profits increased to £70.6million and the number of UK consultants was up 15 per cent to 3,355.
Hays has offices in Aberdeen, Ayr, Dundee, Paisley, Glasgow, Hamilton, Glenrothes, Perth, Stirling, Livingston and Edinburgh. The group placed around 68,000 candidates into permanent jobs during 2007.
