New identity, new vision, new mission

First People Solutions in branding revamp

First People Solutions Group is changing its branding to the acronym FPSG.

The recruitment and HR Consultancy, which is headquartered in Glasgow, believes the change reflects its professional nature and maturity as it enters its 10th year of trading.

The decision to develop the branding follows a company-wide review and is expected to lead to greater success in the professional city markets.

It will also simplify the group status for a number of divisions. Along with the new identity FPSG is clarifying its vision, mission and strategy for business implementation.

It plans to offer value added services with consultancy and a total solutions approach while sticking to the core value that 'Business is about people.'

John Hailstone, managing director, is confident the changes will help the progress of the company.

He said: "This is an exciting time for FPSG. Building on our award-winning reputation we are evolving the brand to signal our maturity and experience across business sectors.

"As FPSG continues to grow successfully across the country we want to reinforce our professional image going forward and acknowledge that the use of our acronym is a bold and clear identity."

The re-brand will replace the First People Solutions mark which includes banking and financial services, accountancy and finance, contact centre, sales and marketing, IT, office and business, commercial, insurance, retail, not for profit and public sector divisions.

It will not affect stand-alone brands such as First People HR, First People Care Solutions, First People TEC Group (Technical, Engineering, Construction) and First People Aviation.

Hailstone has also been nominated in the Institute of Directors Scotland Awards.

He will find out whether he picks up the Director of the Year gong on March 6 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow.

Fpsg has other offices in Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, London and Surrey and employs more than 140 people. Last year it acquired JOBACT Petrochem in a £4m deal.
