The search to find the UK's top temporary worker in 2008 is under way.
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation has launched the annual One in a Million award.
Agencies can nominate temporary or contract staff for the title, which will be announced in June.
The last Scottish success was in 2005when Ann Marie DeVaney, agency nursing and social care worker of the year, took the top prize.
Louise Wightman, chair of directors for the REC Scotland, said the body would love to repeat the success of Ann Marie, but warned this could not happen without votes.
