In brief...: Software to test IT skills
La Recruitment has invested in new software capable of testing jobseekers' abilities in accounting IT and engineering.
The Aberdeen-based company can now test for more areas of expertise including payroll, IT programming skills and engineering design programmes.
Mhairi Preston, director, said: "Until now we've only been able to test candidates on Micro soft Word and Excel programmes, but we tried out the software and it was so successful we have decided to add it to our recruiting process."
The tests can be done at LA's office or emailed to applicants.
